Serang culinery

If you want to try culinary in Serang. You can find many sea food restaurants along the street in Serang. It is normal, suppose Serang is a front sea city. So the menu always offers much sea food. Beginning sun set time you can find many tent-café stands in a line along the street. They sell many items of food, drink, snack, etc. There are complete foods. You choose and make your decision…and all is a delicious.

I am offering you a sea food tent-café beside Mandiri Bank at Old Market Street. I have eaten on there before. They have a delicious menu. In this tent you can order sea food. It is better for you asking the price first. Because no price list in their menu. I am eating “Ikan Kakap Asem Manis”; I pay 50.000 IDR for a big fish. It was big enough stuffing me. Fortunately I and my friend joint to eating the fish. They are sell fish about a half until 2 kilogram. I you are alone to eat, please order a smaller fish. But while you are in a group, try to find a big one. So the price will more cheap.

Yogya Culinary Tourism

We have known about Malioboro. There are many street counters of foods and meals on Malioboro Street, traditional food or international food. You must smart to choose one of them, especially about the prices of the foods. You should try to find the food counter that has a price list in his menu. If you find one without a price list, it is better if you asking before take an order. It is a way to free from any cheat sales.

I have some recommendation about Yogyakarta Culinary as below:
Sate Madura beside the street, the mother sell one packet of sate Madura about 3000 – 10000 IDR. You dare to buy if you did not have any trouble with the hygeness of the food

Warung Ngasem: This place has a prime menu: sate ayam, sate kambing and tongseng. This warung is front of the market, Ngasem, Taman Sari, Southern Square. They sell one package is about 8000 IDR.

Want you eat “Gudeg”. You can come at Suryotomo Street, behind Garuda Hotel. Along this street you can find some “Gudeg Resto”. One package is about 8000 IDR. But if you want more “Gudeg” , you cmust come to wijilan street.

Mie Pojokan. This counter place at the corner of North Square. They are only open at the night. You can eat on the street directly. The special menu is Mie Goreng and Nasi Goreng. The price is about 12000 IDR per package.

Soto Bangkong. The store is located in Malioboro Street, in front of Batik Luwes not so far from Ramai Toserba. They sell Soto, 9000 IDR per package.

Pempek Palembang. You can find some food store beside Ramai Toserba. The price is about 8000 IDR per package.

Sate Klathak. You can buy sate klathak in Karang Square, Kotagedhe. One package is about 12000 IDR.

Pandan Roll Cake

Lets following my journey in culinary……Last month I had visit a traditional cake maker in BRI complex, Kalimalang area They make Pandan Roll cake traditionally. The workers are about 5 people only. This home made cake industry was been built since 1975.

These cakes have a special recipe. Everyday they can make about 350 thousands pieces cakes. They sell about 500 IDR per piece. I have a lucky because I can follow their production….. And I can eat them full and free. This is very interesting tourism journey. Don’t forget let you follow my culinary tourism always.
